Beim Umbau der Fakultät für Rechtswissenschaften entstand im Innenhof des Gebäudes aus dem 20. Jahrhundert die neue Institutsbibliothek. Der Bestand umfasst etwa 200 000 Bücher und 600 Zeitschriften. 4 375m² bieten Platz für 5km Bücherregale und 500 mit W-LAN ausgestattete Arbeitsplätze, die sich über die sechsgeschossige Galeriekonstruktion verteilen. Der Einbau liegt dabei nur auf acht Punkten auf und erhält so die denkmalgeschützte Struktur des Innenhofs. Die Baukosten beliefen sich auf 65 Mio. CHF.

During the reconstruction of the Faculty of Law, the new institute library was created in the inner courtyard of the 20th century building. The stock includes about 200 000 books and 600 journals. 4 375m² provide space for 5km of bookshelves and 500 wifi-equipped workplaces spread across the six-storey gallery structure. The installation rests on only eight points, thus preserving the listed structure of the inner courtyard. The construction costs amounted to CHF 65 million.
