Das Bibliotheks- und Kulturhaus Tingbjerg wurde als große keilförmige Hülle konzipiert. In seiner engsten Form ist das Gebäude nur 1,5 Meter breit. Es wurde als Erweiterung der Tingbjerg-Schule mit einem schrägen Dach gebaut, das zum Eingang der Schule abfällt. Die 16,9 Meter hohe Glasfassade der Bibliothek soll die Funktionen nach Außen hin sichtbar machen. So können die Aktivitäten im Inneren an der Fassade abgelesen werden. Das Herzstück des Gebäudes befindet sich im Erdgeschoss mit einer flexibel nutzbaren Halle, deren Luftraum sich über die ganze Höhe erstreckt. Diese wird für unterschiedliche Veranstaltungen, wie Vorlesungen, Konzerte und Tanzabende genutzt. Desweiteren befindet sich im Erdgeschoss ein Café, das von Bewohnern der Nachbarschaft betrieben wird. Das 1. Obergeschoss bietet Platz für die Kinderbibliothek und Räume für Vereinstreffen. Im 2. Obergeschoss sind Kreativräume angesiedelt, wie Makerspaces, FAB-Labs und Werkstätten. Im Letzten und 3. Obergeschoss befindet sich die Jugendbibliothek. Eröffnet wurde das Gebäude am 01. Oktober 2018.
The Tingbjerg Library and Culture House was designed as a large wedge-shaped shell. In its narrowest form, the building is only 1.5 metres wide. It was built as an extension of the Tingbjerg School with a sloping roof that slopes down towards the school's entrance. The library's 16.9-metre-high glass facade is designed to make the functions visible to the outside. In this way, the activities inside can be read on the facade. The heart of the building is on the ground floor with a flexibly usable hall, whose air space extends over the entire height. This is used for various events such as lectures, concerts and dance evenings. Furthermore, there is a café on the ground floor, which is run by residents of the neighbourhood. The 1st floor offers space for the children's library and rooms for association meetings. The 2nd floor is home to creative spaces such as makerspaces, FAB labs and workshops. The youth library is located on the last and third floor. The building was opened on 1 October 2018.
