Die Humanistische Bibliothek im elsässischen Schlettstadt vereint zwei Bibliotheken: die der Humanistenschule und die private des Gelehrten Beatus Rhenanus, welche 2011 ins UNESCO-Weltdokumentenerbe aufgenommen wurde. Heute umfasst der Bestand etwa 2 500 gedruckte Bücher aus dem 16. Jahrhundert sowie 550 Inkunabeln und 460 Handschriften. Seit 1889 werden die Sammlungen im ehemaligen Kornhaus aufbewahrt, das im Juni 2018 nach kompletter Umstrukturierung neu eröffnet wurde.
In der neoromanischen Basilika dienen die neuen Räume zur Ausstellung der historischen Dokumente, es wurden jedoch auch ein kleiner Lesesaal und ein Vortragsraum ergänzt. Im Anbau befinden sich ein Aufenthaltsbereich und die Verwaltung.
The Humanist Library in Schlettstadt, Alsace, combines two libraries: that of the Humanist School and the private one of the scholar Beatus Rhenanus, which was included in the UNESCO World Documentary Heritage in 2011. In the neo-Romanesque basilica, the new rooms serve to display the historical documents, but a small reading room and a lecture room have also been added. A lounge area and the administration are located in the annex.
