Unter dem Namen "BNU Nouvelle" wurde das Bibliotheksgebäude der Universität Strasbourg aus dem 19. Jahrhundert komplett renoviert. Dabei sollte die wilhelminische Architektur beibehalten werden. Ergänzt wurden neben einer digitalen Bibliothek unter anderem neue Räumlichkeiten wie eine Cafeteria und ein Auditorium, die Nutzerarbeitsplätze wurden von 500 auf 660 erhöht. Ein besonderer Fokus lag auch auf der Vernetzung von Bibliothek und Museum, weshalb auch ein Ausstellungsraum von 500m² hinzukam, der historische Sammlungen beherbergt. Die Bibliothek beherbergt etwa 3,5 Mio. Dokumente auf sechs Geschossen. Die Baukosten betrugen 64,8 Mio. Euro.
Under the name "BNU Nouvelle", the 19th century library building of the University of Strasbourg was completely renovated. The Wilhelminian architecture was to be retained. In addition to a digital library, new rooms such as a cafeteria and an auditorium were added, and the number of user workstations was increased from 500 to 660.
